Grupo Prolutec’s factory and main warehouse are located in Sant Pere de Vilamajor. The town is at the heart of the Montseny Natural Park, which is considered a world heritage site and was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1978. The choice of location for our facilities had an important impact on their construction as we had an overriding desire to dignify the surroundings and protect them against contamination. That is why the factory has its own water treatment plant and an air filtration system that purifies steam emissions in an effort to achieve 0% polluting gases.
Ergonomic, environmental and ecological aspects, along with the importance of sustainability, influenced the general design and construction of the facilities, such as the flooring, colour schemes, textures, the façade cladding, lighting systems, windows and daylighting.
Not only do we want to ensure that our products are safe and sustainable, but we also want to extend our commitment to the planet through all of our activities by reducing our carbon footprint in the production and supply chain and increasing the efficiency of our water and energy use.
